| Abstract: | Multi-trauma (multi-body injuries and/or fractures) leads to reduced function and quality of life (QoL) for affected individuals. Rehabilitation can be a key component of care, but there is limited research on its treatment effect in this patient group. Value-Based HealthCare (VBHC) is a health model, focused on achieving patient-centred outcomes relative to its cost. This VBHC study evaluated the impact of multiple trauma on patients’ function and QoL, with inpatient rehabilitation, and the association between these outcomes and rehabilitation costs. |
