Abstract: Background: In alignment with the Epworth 2025 Strategy and the Brookes Nursing and Midwifery Academy’s vision to attract and develop future nursing talent, the Cancer Care Nursing Transition to Specialty Practice (TSP) pilot program was launched in July 2024 through the support of an Epworth Innovation Grant. The program aimed to address educational gaps in oncology nursing by providing a structured and supportive transition pathway for nurses entering the cancer care specialty. Key objectives included developing clinical competence, supporting professional growth, enhancing patient care, strengthening community connections, and improving nurse satisfaction and retention.
