Abstract: | Oral food challenges (OFC) are commonly conducted in tertiary Australian public hospitals; however there is a lack of published reports on the safety of administering OFC in the setting of a private hospital. Objective: To describe the risks associated with conducting paediatric OFC in a tertiary private hospital in Melbourne. Method: This is a retrospective database review of paediatric OFC conducted at the Epworth Hospital, Melbourne, over a three-year period between April 2011 and March 2014. |
